Dr Susan Bowie MBChB, MRCGP

 
Full time GP since November 1996. In addition to general medical services and minor surgery, she has special interests in hypnotherapy and paediatrics. Dr Bowie holds a paediatric clinic in the Gilbert Bain Hospital, Lerwick on Tuesdays, and accompanies the Paediatric consultants at clinics every six weeks or so.
Dr Bowie has been a GP trainer since 2002, with registrars full time since 2004. She is passionately interested in evidence based medicine and training.

Medical Students
Occasionally a medical student may sit in on a patient consultation to learn about becoming a GP. You can ask to see the doctor alone if you wish.
